One summer morning, I was in the vicinity of Manila City Hall. There beside SM Manila is a newly renovated YMCA. Decided to check out their pool, and I was blown away.
The old swimming pool was decent; but this new one is way better! New tiles, and more space
Entrance fee is P110 P115. Kids pay P85 P95, as of Feb 2015. That's covers you from 8am-5pm. Swimming lessons are offered - do check out the posters by the doorway..
Proper swimming attire is required - that means swim trunks for men and bathing suits for women, with swimming cap.
Food is not allowed in the pool area, but right outside the registration booth is a small foodcourt. It's relatively new, so as of this posting, only a Belgian Waffle stand is operational. Anyway, there's SM Manila just a few meters away. There you go, an extension of my Splashing Places in Manila post.
(updated rates February 2015)
